My Beagles have always been a big part of my life. It is my goal to help you find the joy that a healthy happy beagle will bring to your family, as they have mine. My beagles are UKC registered, purebred beagles. Our smaller beagles run about 9-13" tall and usually weigh between 9-16 lbs. Our standard beagles are 13-14" tall and weigh around 20-26 lbs. We have Beagles in Chocolate, Tri Color, Gold and Silver.
We have shipping available. We use American Airlines for our puppies to travel, it is $250. The puppies seem to handle the travel quite well. Usually if there is an issue, it has more to do with the travel in the car. The puppies will need a little time to settle in, it is a big day of lots of changes. Given plenty of TLC, they begin to think of you as their new "home". Keep in mind that if you are getting an older puppy, you will have to give him or her time to adopt you and your family as their own.
Our puppies come with UKC registration papers and current vaccinations. We will not let the puppies go before 8 weeks of age. They also have to be eating well on their own, weigh a minimum of 4 lbs, and earn a certificate of health from our veterinarian. This health certification is required for a puppy to travel and must be current. This helps assure you are getting a healthy puppy. We schedule this health check a couple of days before the puppy leaves us and we ask that you also have your vet give the puppy a health check within 72 hours of receiving him or her. At this time you should plan to start a new routine with the vet to follow up on vaccinations and health care for your puppy. With EVERY puppy, we have a sales agreement that we will exchange with you via fax or meeting in person for pick up.
Please keep in mind that a new puppy comes with many responsibilities. They require a good quality food, we recommend Diamond puppy food, plenty of chew toys, a good puppy shampoo, lots of patience, consistent training, and a good place to sleep. This is a lot of work, but the rewards that the puppy will give you are well worth it all.
What's in a name? Our name Hybridhounds was originally used since we had both Hybrid breeds and pure-bred hounds. We are sorry to announce that we will no longer be breeding the puggle puppies. Due to both shipping difficulties and personal health reasons, we have reduced our numbers. We have retired our Pugs and will now only breed our purebred UKC registered beagles. We tossed around the idea of changing our name, but we have so many loyal friends from past puppies that we didn't want to lose contact. For our past customers, we may not have new puggle puppies, but we still love to hear updates and receive pictures of the puppies as they grow, and we are always happy to help in any way we can with questions and concerns about the puppies.
